Templier II is a work by renowned French artist Jacques Villeglé, a key figure of post-war European art and a founding member of the Nouveau Réalisme movement.

Celebrated for his radical use of décollage and found street posters, Villeglé captured the fragmented visual language of the urban environment, transforming it into a powerful form of social and political commentary.

His densely layered surfaces evoke a sense of cultural erosion, reflecting the chaos, tension, and constant flux of modern life.

This silkscreen print was produced in 1972 at the Paris studio of Yiannis Kessanlis and Chryssa Romanou. It is part of a historic series of 73 works by international artists affiliated with the Nouveaux Réalistes and Mec Art movements.

This series explored fragmentation, gesture, non-traditional materials, and the expressive force of chance and chaos.

Each silkscreen in the series is signed and numbered by the artist.

Sold unframed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
