The Age of Remedy plate set by Tiziana Pers is a special edition created for the exhibition Why Look at Animals? A Case for the Rights of Non-Human Lives.
This ambitious collective performance invites participants to sign a contract to become part of an ongoing exhibition. 
Everyday objects—specifically, dinner plates—are transformed into tools for performance. By signing the contract, participants obtain the plates and agree to stop consuming animal products while using them.
Tiziana Pers is an academic, artist, and activist who explores the parallels and connections between racism, sexism, colonialism, speciesism, and the violence inflicted on ecosystems. 
The set includes two pieces: a bowl plate and a dinner plate.
